Nervous. Excited! Such conflicting emotions! Thankyou for being here today – the first day of this website being live. I have had it on my heart for more than 8 years to encourage others through blogging. I have dabbled behind the scenes all of that time, and today I get brave and share with the world!
This website has been 2 years in the making, so it’s TIME! I hope to encourage family’s that are in the thick of raising children to lift their eyes to different possibilities. I hope to encourage Mum’s and Dad’s to be closer to each other, and in turn have more unity and fun raising kids. It might be easy to look at my pictures and read my words and feel like it’s all about adventure. And that is the ‘medium’ if you like, but if you look closer, I hope you see it is really about building closer relationships with those we love.
My ability to spread the word is limited, so I would love your help. Please tell your friends about this website, both the ones that love the outdoors and the ones that would like to, but can’t quite figure out how to do it with kids. Please share on social media. I just subscribed, and am looking forward to following along on your adventures, Leanne, and learning a few things too! We are a pretty outdoorsy family, my youngest starting doing 3 mile hikes on her own when she was 2 (it was slow!), but the one thing we haven’t tackled is backpacking, which is something I would love to do with them.
